If you find in our database an extension that in your opinion deserves a different description, or any other changes in the listing, including the download URL, please post the desired changes as Comments under the extension in question. All comments are subject to moderation, and we will modify the listings where appropriate. Remember that all descriptions should answer the question "What does it do?" and refrain from any subjective evaluations such as "nice", "awesome", "easy to use", etc. Such qualifications are only allowed in the Comments, but not in the Listings, which should remain neutral.
At this time, our database contains 672 active extensions and 643 extensions without a working link. Because there are so many of "dead" extensions, we decided to separate them HERE. If you find there an extension that YOU wish to move to the active side, simply post a comment under it, with the correct URL and any other appropriate changes.
If you’ve ever booked a flight on a professional airline site and drooled a little over the sleek and efficient reservation calendars used for selecting dates, this is the Dreamweaver extension for you. You’ll need to make sure that ASP is supported on your server, and you’ll also have to set writing permissions, but the extra configuration ends there. This extension offers the ability to create beautiful, dynamic calendars with all the control needed to function efficiently. As a designer, getting a great-looking calendar without having to mess with excess code is invaluable.
The user interface for modifying reserved and available dates, creating color codes, adding notes, and otherwise modifying the calendar and inserting it into a page is a breeze. The only real criticism I can offer about the product is that data capture and transmission to the server requires the creation of separate scripts or the purchase of another product. As a result, this extension won’t serve as a standalone functional calendar utility, but it does produce the visual component in a thoroughly modern and attractive way.
At $60, this extension isn’t the least expensive around, but considering how many pages can take advantage of a powerful calendar feature, the price seems reasonable. As with other DreamweaverCalendars extensions I’ve used, installation and setup are simple and problem-free. Recommended for making great impressions on any site utilizing reservations.
